Sandra in Keelong

On August 12th, we went to Kelung. Our first stop was at Dawulun Battery. When we first reached the Lover's Lake, I was already exausted by clibming the steep hill. Then we went hiking, I saw animals, like snails, spiders..., when Teacher Mike wanted to stop the awful whining of our class, Teacher Mike let us rest under a huge tree which leaves were like a huge umbrella, but not after long, we continued with our exausting hike, but then we found something better than a tree, a windy platform! Not only the weather was great, but the view was also great. We took some pictures then went down the mountain. It was much easier going down than up, not much longer I was happy to be on the ground again.

Our next stop was at the Fairy Cave(仙洞). It's a legend that a long time ago, a monk found out that a hole has a Buda living in it, and gives the monks rice everyday. But because of one monk's greed, he dug the hole bigger, rice never came out again. That hole is nowadays' Fairy Cave. It was wet, narrow, and dark. I got scrapes on my shoulders after we passed it, but I got some really cool shots, there were WORDS on the walls of the Fairy Cave. After we prayed to the Buda, we climbed up some stairs to the Fairy Cave Park(仙洞公園), there are some temples there, too! After that I bought an ice cream, but that's not important.

Our last stop was the Zhong Zhung Park(中正公園). I saw a huge bell, we wanted to strike it, but it costed 50$. Teacher Sophia afforded it, then all us girls stroke the bell, it was fun. The boys didn't get to strike it, but we didn't tell them, then Teacher Mike let us play the Bumper Cars twice. Then I bought a drink. Just then I found out the shop nextdoor was full of beautiful things, we took some pictures, just then the grumpy shopowner said"No picture taking, and no recording either." "Grumpy shopowner." I murmered. Now I wasn't fun and happy, I was angry. But not for long, after a while, I completely forgot about it.

Even if I did meet a grumpy shopowner, she couldn't break my happy feelings of the day in Keelung.
